Services

The library’s faculty and staff provide a wide range of services to the campus community, including distance students.

Reference librarians offer one-on-one research support and teach course specific information literacy sessions that help students develop their skills in finding, evaluating, and using information resources.

The Interlibrary Loan department manages a sophisticated and rapid requesting system that enables patrons to get materials, such as journal articles and books, from other libraries. Articles are supplied electronically and physical items are delivered to the library for pick-up.

The Circulation department manages checkout of library materials, provides print and electronic course reserves, and is a key service point for library assistance.

The Digital Lab provides equipment and staff support to the University community for creating and editing multimedia assignments and products, such as videos and podcasts.

The Technical Services department acquires and manages the collections, and develops and maintains discovery tools such as the library catalog for accessing them.
