Wireless Network

Students, faculty, staff, and members of the University community can access the UPStaff and UPStudent secure encrypted wireless network using 802.11a/b/g/n wireless devices such as laptops, notebooks, tablets, and smart phones. In addition, guests of the University of Portland can access the UPGuest wireless network while visiting campus. The information services division has recently expanded the campus network bandwidth to 1.5Gbps and completed the installation of wireless access points that provide 100 percent coverage of University of Portland buildings.
