Studies theories, strategies, assessment methods, case studies of assessment, diagnosis, and instruction for literacy achievement in P-12 classrooms. Focuses on appropriate literacy practices for growth in individual learners’ who excel in, and struggle with literacy. Required for reading endorsement. Field experience required. For Education majors only.
