Philosophy Major Option 3: Philosophy, Politics, and Policy
This curriculum is designed for students with an interest in philosophy and political science with an emphasis on public policy. Students choosing this option will have a double major in philosophy and political science. A decision to follow this curriculum should be made before the end of the junior year.

Note: a) ECN 120 and POL 200 meet the Core social science requirement; b) PHL 490/POL 490 and PHL 499/POL 499 must be taken for 3 credit hours each; c) PHL 490/POL 490 should be completed during the junior year; and d) PHL 499/POL 499 should be completed the senior year and in the discipline not chosen for the directed study during the junior year.
Electives – 21 credits
12 upper-division credits must be from political science, with 6 credits being 400-level. Also, must have one Comparative Politics course, one U.S. Politics course, and one International Relations course.
9 upper-division credits must be in philosophy, chosen from those courses not already required.
