CE 464 Watershed Systems Modeling

Application of computing tools in water resources engineering. Introduction to surface water modeling, including GIS, lumped and distributed systems, calibration, and validation. Computer programming for water resources applications such as water supply and demand. Discussions of water law, policy, and justice with emphasis on water management in the West. Course culminates in a final project using open data and computational tools.
