ED 517 Inclusive Secondary Classrooms

Secondary teacher candidates will learn about the nature of disability, characteristics of exceptional learners, and the impact of disability on student’s learning. Evidence-based and inclusive assessment and instructional practices are explored. Emphasis is placed laws, policies, professional roles and procedures of eligibility determination, general educational placement options, and IEP development.
