Examines perspectives on human learning and development (behavioral, sociocultural, cognitive, biological) with a focus on application of research and theory with children in grades pre-K-5. Focuses on inclusive pedagogical principles and demonstrates how theories of learning and development inform effective, equitable, and differentiated approaches to instruction. Field experience required.
