BIO 311 Biomechanics: Life in Motion

From the power of a hummingbird's wings to the efficiency of a marathon runner's stride, movement shapes all life on Earth. This course explores the mechanical principles behind swimming, flying, running, and everything in between. By comparing humans with other organisms, we'll uncover how physics explains performance and drives evolution. Hands-on labs included. Fee: $70
