MUS 315 Women in Music

Through documentaries, student presentations, class discussions, and creative projects we will explore and evaluate how women have used music throughout history to combat oppression and create a voice for themselves. We will analyze how gender has impacted musical composition and how music has influenced gender identity and expression, particularly among women.
