PSY 341 Evolutionary Psychology

This course will introduce students to the study of human nature from an evolutionary perspective, which involves identifying common problems faced by our ancestors (such as identifying dangerous situations or establishing cooperative relationships) and reverse-engineering the design of the cognitive systems that govern those behaviors. Topics will include cooperation and group living, human mating, parenting, personality, and health.
