PSY 342 Evolution and Human Health

This course will employ evolutionary theory to examine a range of issues associated with human health. This approach offers unique insights into issues such as aging, disease, and mental health, including an exploration of why these systems operate the way that they do. Particular emphasis will be placed on how these explanations conflict with intuition and can influence moral judgments and social norms around the human experience.
