THTR 414 Race and Theater
An in-depth study of the diverse landscape of theater and dramatic literature, and the impact that race has played in theatrical movements, styles and genres. Students will work to envisage how they, as the next generation, can foster a more equitable theatrical landscape. Special emphasis will be placed on plays written by playwrights of color and discover the long legacy of racial theater.

THTR 307 for majors, or permission of instructor
