NRS 535 Complimentary and Alternative Therapies

Students will be introduced to several complimentary and alternative medicine (CAM) therapies (Oriental, Ayurveda, homeopathy, and naturopathic medicine; energy healing, herbal, and spiritual concepts of healing). In addition, there will be discussion and evaluation of how these practices are used by the general public, medicine and nursing to promote general health and treat common diseases.
