NRS 589 Applied Research: Evaluation and Evidence-Based Practice

Provides framework to evaluate effectiveness of programs, appropriateness of research in providing evidence-based care, and effectiveness of healthcare interventions. Explores conceptual, methodological, organizational, and ethical problems facing nursing, focusing on research analysis and utilization, program evaluation, outcomes research, and use of data. Includes statistical applications. Students must have basic knowledge of research and statistics.
