Software

Information services provides key software to the campus community. This software is available to students, staff, and faculty via the Virtual Services Center. Software includes Microsoft Office and Symantec anti-virus software. Access the Virtual Service Center by visiting http://www.up.edu/is and selecting "Online Help." Select "Browse Service Catalog" to download software.

Twice each year, information services asks faculty to provide their software requirements for the summer, fall, and spring computer classroom and lab software builds. Individual departments are responsible for funding specialized software. Information services requires compliance with all software copyright laws and regulations. Deep Freeze software has been installed on all computers in classrooms and labs that will bring the computers back to their original state when rebooted.
