CHN 103 Beginning Chinese III

This is the third of a three-semester sequence for students who have little or no background in Chinese. The course builds basic language skills in Mandarin, although oral proficiency and character recognition are emphasized. The course prepares student to participate in the (optional) fourth-semester (Spring) study abroad program in Beijing, China, where Chinese language study continues at the intermediate level.
