RN to BSN
Admission
Registered nurses with an associate degree in nursing (A.D.N.) must meet the general entrance requirements of the University for transfer students as set forth in the Office of Admissions section of this Bulletin. In addition to the nursing major requirements, all students must complete all University Core Requirements.
Admission for students admitted to the R.N. to B.S.N. program is dependent upon:
- Completion of an associate degree in nursing;
- Having an active R.N. license by the start of the program;
- Completion of the statistics prerequisite within the last five years and completed by the start of the program.
Degree Requirements
- Completion of all University core requirements = 39 credits
- Completion of all R.N. to B.S.N. major courses = 36 credits
- Attain an average 3.0 G.P.A. for the program
