Students perform cell and molecular biology experiments utilizing techniques such as PCR, in vitro transcription, recombinant protein purification, CRISPR gene editing, and fluorescence microscopy, and gain authentic research experiences by guiding their own research progress and synthesizing their data with published data in the field.
