Post Master's Preliminary Administrator License Certificate

The post master's preliminary administrator license certificate program provides teachers with experiences in addressing the leadership and management needs of contemporary schools. Successful completion of the certificate program leads to preliminary administrator licensure in Oregon and will be noted on the candidate's transcript.

Post Master's Preliminary Administrator License Certificate Program Learning Outcomes 

  1. A school administrator integrates principles of cultural competency and equitable practice and promotes the success of every student by facilitating the development, articulation, implementation, and stewardship of a vision of learning that is shared and supported by stakeholders.
  2. A school administrator integrates principles of cultural competency and equitable practice and promotes the success of every student by sustaining a positive school culture and instructional program conducive to student learning and staff professional growth.
  3. A school administrator integrates principles of cultural competency and equitable practice and promotes the success of every student by ensuring management of the organization, operation and resources for a safe, efficient, and effective learning environment.
  4. A school administrator integrates principles of cultural competency and equitable practice and promotes the success of every student by collaborating with faculty and community members, responding to diverse community interests and needs, and mobilizing community resources in order to demonstrate and promote ethical standards of democracy, equity, diversity, and excellence, and to promote communication among diverse groups.
  5. A school administrator integrates principles of cultural competency and equitable practice and promotes the success of every student by acting with integrity, fairness, and in an ethical manner. 
  6. A school administrator integrates principles of cultural competency and equitable practice and promotes the success of every student by understanding, responding to, and influencing the larger political, social, economic, legal, and cultural context.
