MUS 235 Finding your Voice: Techniques for healthier breathing, speaking and singing
Students will engage in meditative breathing practices for wellness that ease anxiety and energize the body, learn how breathing connects to efficient and expressive use of the speaking voice and finally connect these techniques of efficient breathing and speaking to singing which releases stress, boosts your immune system, increases your energy, improves your memory and benefits your cardio-vascular endurance. Class will include both applied methods and the science/theory behind these methods.
