MSL 493 Leadership Research and Analysis
For the student who desires to conduct and in-depth analysis in the practical application of Army leadership principles and values on the modern battlefield. The goal of this class is that students gain an understanding and appreciation of the challenges of leading by comparing and contrasting the actions of key U.S. leaders during the Battle of the Ia Drang Valley during the Vietnam War with today's Army values and leadership principles. Goal accomplishment is through meeting with a Military Science Advisor on an every other week basis and by writing a 8-10 page research paper. Course is graded A-F.
