VI. Advanced Placement
College credit can be awarded on the basis of satisfactory scores on Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) examinations. Three or more semester hours’ credit may be granted for each AP examination passed with a score of 4 or 5 and higher level IB examinations passed with a score of 5 or better. There is no grade attached to AP or IB examinations; therefore, it is not included in the grade point average of the student. Final review of AP and IB scores is completed by the Office of the Registrar. More information can be found at
