FA 318 Digital Photography

An introduction to digital photography: basic digital camera operations, digital photographic techniques for adjusting and manipulating images in Adobe Photoshop, and fundamentals of digital image capture, output, and workflow management including scanning, printing, and preparing images for the Internet. Course consists of lectures, demonstrations, lab exercises, field trips, weekly shooting assignments, critiques, and a final project/portfolio. May be repeated for a maximum of 4 credits. Fee $40.
