The University of Portland is authorized by the Washington Higher Education Coordinating Board and meets the requirements and minimum educational standards established for degree-granting institutions under the Degree Authorization Act. This authorization is valid until September 30, 2012, and authorizes the University of Portland to offer the following degree: Master of Education in Educational Leadership.
