Post Master's Educational Specialist
The post master's educational specialist (Ed.S.) is a program alternative for candidates who have successfully completed the coursework portion of the Ed.D. program. This option can either be chosen by a student who decides not to complete a dissertation or proposed by the School of Education for an individual who does not qualify to advance to dissertation candidacy, or one who advances to dissertation candidacy but does not complete the dissertation and final defense.
