Admissions

The University welcomes applicants for admission to any of our five schools. Admission to the University of Portland is competitive. Students are selected based on individual merit.

Undergraduate applications for the 2027-2028 academic year may be submitted beginning as early as August 1, 2026. First-time, first-year students apply to and matriculate in the fall or spring semester. Students who transfer from two-year or other four-year institutions may apply to and matriculate in the fall, spring, or summer term. The University encourages undergraduate applicants to visit the campus and meet with an admissions counselor, members of the faculty, and current students.
